The Exploded Coffee Table was inspired by the exploded views of various mechanical drawings as seen in assembly instructions or parts lists. They’re a graphic invention of the Renaissance, famously used by Leonardo DaVinci.
This design is a traditional rectangular table burst apart. Simplicity belies refinement. Despite being light and airy, the subtle design will securely hold your interest. Harking back to its origins, metal brackets provide a mechanical look. The brackets were cut on a laser and formed on a very large brake, then powder coated.
Available with or without the slender lower shelf.
Exploded tables can be made of ply, walnut, or laminated in a variety of colors.
Brackets are available in black, white, or red.
