This leggy coffee table was Inspired by the mid century modern hair pin legged tables.
Rather than being bent metal, the legs are wooden. To get the precision needed to have them meet where they needed to, I cut them on my CNC, then carefully hand sanded and shaped the edges and curves of the legs.
Though the legs are of a simple shape, the table top has a complex blend around the bottom to soften and lighten it.
The legs come as four mirrored pieces. This makes the table more affordable to ship. More importantly because I like things that need to be put together. I enjoy the detail of fasteners, in this case brass screws
Finished with an imported all-natural oil finish that is plant-based, VOC-free, completely non-toxic, and of extraordinary durability.
I make these one at a time. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for me to obsess over your table.
